Hi I noticed that my mk 5 gti engine cover seemed loose I took it off only to find 3 mounting points, the fourth one front left seems to be completely missing, the grommets is in the cover but no mounting on to engine block
Or pass me in direction of a pic

Yes, there should definitely be 4 mounting points for the engine cover.

cheers for that....makes me wonder, why oh why would the previous owner have removed the mount?
Perhaps they broke or bent it trying to get the cover off and just could be bothered replacing it
