***Just a quick note to say that the rollers are very accurate***

Ok, so here are the results which brought much happiness (mainly from Mk3 owners) and also much sadness (mainly Mk5 owners).

First up was a Mk5 Gti with a 'Stage 2' Revo map, estimated power was 280-290bhp. Result:

Following the disappointment of the Mk5 thing's didn't really pick up. The JDM FD2 Civic Type-R was spotted to have a slight oil leak as it approached the rollers, after a quick top up it was decided to run it anyway. Estimated power was 222bhp, result:

Following the Civic was the only 1.8T Golf of the day, it was a standard AUM and should have been running around 150bhp, after an initial scare of 120ish, the dyno was reconfigured and the result was almost bang on:

After the 1.8T was the Pug 206 gti, they run around 136bhp(?) as standard so 130.5 wasn't too bad!

Next up was the first of the Mk2's, it was running a 2.0 8v(?) bored out to 2.1(?). It was suffering from a couple of issues so was a little down on expected power:

Next was the first of the 3 red Mk3 8v's, belonging to Luke. Completely standard so a very good result

Then a during a short gap between runs Chuff decided he'd risk putting the Passat on the rollers with Topher at the helm. For a car with 177k on the clock a very respectable result

Following the Passat was the 2nd Mk5 of the day, this one also slightly down on power:

After a suggestion that 99Ron fuel might provide better results, and a fuel light being on, Chas went to seek a Shell garage and filled up with V-Power. A 16mile drive later he was back and gained a little bit:

The second Mk2 of the day was next in line, this time in ABF form. A very nice result:

The final car before lunch was the 'dickhead low' Mk2! After beaching the subframe on the strap hooks it was decided to jack the car up by the rear beam and place wheels under the ramps:

After a lot of nervous watching it was finally ready to roll. The expected power was about 140bhp but it was suffering from a bit of heat soak, so was a little bit down on predictions. With a little bit of work it could see that:

note the rpm it went too, neg needs to be reworked.

Ok, to continue from earlier! After a break for some food was the 4th Mk2, after spluttering it's way into the car park and promptly cutting out it finally managed to muster up enough power to hit the dyno. 3 power runs later and the 1.8 8v engine was showing it's age a little, but not bad considering it hasn't had as much as an oil change for the last 3 years

Len's blue eyed beast was up next and after nearly destroying the body kit on the way on it made, as expected, just over 150bhp:

The last of the Mk5's followed, this one also slightly down on standard:

And the newest car of the day was up next in the form of the Mk6 Gti pulling a very respectable 208bhp much to Topher and Chuff's dismay:

Finally came the turn of mine! After a little splitter scraping and careful manoeuvring it was on the ramps and ready to go. Predicted power ranged from 65bhp to about 75bhp (thanks!), I maintained that I would be happy if I got anything around 100-110bhp. Needless to say I was more than a little happy with the results:

Following that awesome little display was the most powerful car of the day, the M3. The owner said he would be happy with around 330-335bhp, lets just say he was a little p!ssed off with the result:
