« on: 15 April 2011, 16:35 »
Am I right in saying 4000 grade LIGHTLY over the area touched up?
This is then to be rotary polished with
Megs 84 then 80.

where can I get this?
I can get 1200 grade easy but feel its abit coarse

I would say 1200 is a bit coarse but thats just me. Start high and work down if its no good, and then work back up. At the end of the day, you dont wanna completely f**k it up! Trust your instinct, if you think your going too deep and it wont polish out with coarser paper, you probably are!

1200 will be fine just to cut down the initial bulk but I wouldn't use 1200 for normal scratches etc and I wouldn't want to polish anything more coarse then 1800-2000 scratches
