Congratulations. You're a randy so and so ... two births in less than 6 months! And that missus is a birthing genius.

Back on topic....
I presume it will be Virgin White, have ACC, DSG, Xenons, Front and Rear sensors, Dynaudio, RNS510, Lux and Winter Packs, Cruise, 18" and a Luggage Net.

Just checking you have not cocked it up!

I've said it on here before, but I just can't understand what the deal is on your side of the pond with the mental lead times. Mine arrived at the dealers today, 13 weeks after ordering, and that was long enough. Surely the order-to-delivery process is fairly similar in the UK and Ireland, despite the minor spec differences between us. 6-8 months is just utter nuts and I'd be looking elsewhere if that was the case over here.

EDIT: Maybe it is actually down to different geographical locations, market differences, demand, etc. E.g. Ireland is obviously a much smaller market, maybe its easier for VW Ireland to get their relatively small number of orders through. And maybe even minor spec differences, such as the fact our speedos are in KM/H here, might be more easily available than the MPH version!

At least your dealer calls you. Called mine again on Monday to see if any news only to get there's nothing on system. So tomorrow is d-day. If there is no info after 12 weeks on order then it'll be cancelled by tomorrow afternoon. Had enough of it.

Steve my friend:
Look at it this way - you waited nine months for your bonny son and now a further nine months in very quick succession for your daughter (GTD). Spare a thought for the mother who is doing all the hard work and think of the new arrival as a Christmas present. You are going to have such fun buying her all those pretty frocks.
