Uncle Asker speaks sense , Ive changed my order to white and ditched the metallic paint , metallic swirls easy anyway, also gone for ACC .
The Charlestons shadows will look very smart on white , who's got any photo's in white ?  :undecided:

Excellent. Perfect spec now. White is a fabulous colour and no shitty swirls to drive you mad. You did the right thing. Glad I was of some help.

Looks good to me. You will not regret the ACC.

The only thing now is to change the 'D' to an 'I'
Mk7 GTI. DBP, DCC, Winter pack. Mine since new, July 2013.

No swirls if you use the Two Bucket method and use a lambs wool mitt

Jim

True, I'd love to get a metallic black car but know it's all going to end in swirl ridden

Saw a GTD in Red flying down Gray's Inn Road this morning. Looked absolutely stunning. But Red also shows swirl marks.

However, you might enjoy a change in colour from White and really feel you have got a NEW car.

If you go metallic, go Shadow Blue. It's really very classy.

My 3 favourite colours are Red, Shadow Blue and White. Any of these is a great choice.

My 5y old pearlescent black MK5 (13 days til Mk6!) has no swirls.

Hand washed, new sponge everytime, no rubbing, smooth sweeping action.

10 mins clean water hose down before any sponge/paint contact.

GTD 10 plate fully loaded. Ordered new GTD
Why have you ordered a new one when you have the same one only 1 year old?

It must be you bought second hand and its the wrong colour or doesn't have the options you since found out you need.

He's had a child hence he needs rear doors.....
Yes this is very true , 5 doors is a must want my son to have his own door lol
But didn't you think you might want kids 12 months ago?

I don't have kids but I wanted a 5 door because I hate for people to get out to let someone in the back.
