wheels and stuck

some of you might no my thread im puttin a 1.8t in a mk1 golf and the time has come for wheels BUT what size would you say im best to run with it not ruinin the drive of the golf

for a start i have a choice between 15" 16" 17" wheels

i wont say what they are but i no sizes

9x16" et20

8x17" et20 or et30

7x15" et35

15's, anything bigger will look stupid on a Mk1 and youll really struggle for clearance with the 16" and 17" options you have there anyway, both on the arch and the struts.

I don't understand why people go for massive wheels on a car that wasn't designed for them. 15s. If you go bigger it will look cr4p.  :rolleyes:
