Id rather have a skoda superb than the passat, cheaper, better made, and better quality.

Me too. The Superb is a wonderful car. Drove one last week and was most inpressed. Brilliant finish.

The Phaeton is a unbelievable second hand buy. Under 10,000 on the clock for the price of a GTI

It has every extra and more as standard. I have been in one and you hear no wind or road noise. It has double glazing and a V6 diesel 4 wheel drive.
Only thing about these big salons including the Passat and superb is they are fantastic if you only do motorway driving. Put them onto a B road and the whole point of a gti is answered.

Amen to that.

I've got so much junk in my garage that the GTI only just fits in there too, no chance of getting anything bigger.

The CC looks quite nice.
Don't you want a hatch/estate?

Just planning ahead for the pram, travel cot, then a bike.....

Do the seats fold down ?

The CC is lovely but remember it is only a 4 seater just in case that would be a hindrance.

Cheers Lee that's good to know as I had originally went looking at the CC before the Golf and couldn't believe they only had 4 seats.
