Doc take your passenger mirror out and check the part number on the round motor?  if it ends in a C then you have the kerb mirror dip function it just needs setting up with VCDS, none of this needing memory seats or folding mirrors anymore.

I fitted the motor and loom to my car and then fitted the mk6 door controller, with a bit of wire swapping I now have the kirb dip - plus folding mirrors with auto dimming and puddle lights.

Still looking for information on this.  Has anyone retro fitted folding mirrors to their MK6 yet?

Also, does anyone know whether the door modules need to be replaced (as per the MK5), as well as the switch and mirrors?

Any info on this appreciated.  Thanks.

It would be an expensive retro fit is what I was told by mortygt140, and probably not really worth it tbh.  I thought about doing it and then decided I can live without puddle lights and partially folding mirrors.

I was quoted £1090 for elec mirrors and puddle lights from the dealer...if I bought with the ed35 it would have £140 extra...

Crazy money at £1090 as retro fit when it can be done at factory build for £140.  VW and their pricing structures wtf.

Is it easy coded in and out as it maybe easier to try and code and see if it.works rather than remove the mirror to check the motor

I tried to code mirror down on my car but couldn't

It's a August 11 build so don't know if I added a luxury pack drivers door switch it would let me code it in?

My understanding is that the mirror part numbers are different, so there must be some hardware change for the dipping. Not sure if its mirror and controllers, or just mirrors.
