The VW bodyshop will fix the chipped paint and any other surface damage for the new price of £200 inc VAT. Quite a drop from £770 + VAT.

The estimator Don/Dom (you know who I mean ) is a nutter. I told him so today and to try and get real. I explained to them that if he coninues in this vein, they'll be fixing themselves and not cars. 
I'm surprised he does not estimate in multiples of 666. 

I'll have a word with them when I see them on Monday regarding your quote.

If you wouldn't mind, that would be kind. The fact that I was referral business also suggested that they might be a little more decent considered how small my complaints actually are.

Gave car to VW bodyshop to repair the chipped paint on the roof edge. Collection sometime next week.
