Wobly clutch pedal

Got a slightly lose clutch pedal, theres slight movement from left to right, not much to notice but its enough to bug me, prob got ocd is there a bolt to tighten somewhere?

Or the pedal has been changed previously and the shims have not been refitted. 90% sure I'm right

Yup, my pedal snapped, new one fitted by a mobile VW specialist, claims he fitted new shims... did he heckers like haha, so got him back out to do it again!
Pedal nice and solid again, but now the cruise control doesn't work.. MK4 Golf's eh?
