They will be on all cars unfortunately. I would rather be a goblin for as long as possible.

Read the news recently?

Big anti campaigns for Xenons/Hids and DRLs.

Personally, I hate those "look at me" lights. The dazzling Xenons/Hids are just plain anti social.

Ooops. I thought you were talking of the decapitated head due to my reference to goblins.  :embarassed:

Ive been looking at that front bumper for ages now trying to figure out whats different apart from the black lip. As others kept saying about the flare. I have just now seen the lower flare at the side near the lower lip/foglight as its so low in real life i never noticed it was not on the standard GTI until i went and looked
Bluemotion side skirts..
Non colour coded bargin basement 'L' spec door mirrors.

Its worse trying to find the differences than the SEAT leon FR/Cupra/CupraR

I think they got it right with the Edition 30. I saw a black one in Clerkenwell this morning and it looked the business. They look good in red (see, I can be nice about red Asker) but I'd never seen a black ED30 before. Made me want my BBS wheels much sooner. I could avoid paying the builders for a few days come to think of it....

So is the Edition 35 still using the same engine as the GTI?

I'd be very suprised if it doesnt, it's a step back for VW if they use the old engine and say's that they don't have confidence in their current GTI engine IMO.

I know that the R uses the 'old' engine but that kicks out quite a bit more power.
