Could be a future classic.

The ED30s hold their value really well and are really sought after, I can see this being the same.
Mk7 GTI. DBP, DCC, Winter pack. Mine since new, July 2013.
GTI no. 4. Golf no. 5.  VW no. 7.

For me it makes sense financially just to completely pay the GTI off over the next couple of years and trade it in for a Mk7. Extending the finance for an R or ED35 at this stage doesn't make sense to me when the Mk7 is a year or so away. I just hope the GTI holds it value for when I come to sell it in the future as they cost enough in the bloody first place these days.

No way will you be getting a MK7 GTI in a year, Id say your at least 2 years away from having a MK7 GTI sitting on your driveway.

No point getting one's knickers in a twist, at least for now for me. I keep a car for 3 years, so I'll twist my panties at the end of 2012. :grin:
