Nice thread going mate. Looks awesome after Guy sorted it, what 'package' did you opt for?

Did you fit the pipe work your self? If so what kit etc, or was it a made up custom kit?

cheers, yeah its the take out the swirl marks package whatever that is  Guy's work is top class though, all I do is wax it every couple of months now and it still looks awesome. The bastard made me buy a sheepskin mit to wash it though

Sfs pipework throughout, yep fitted it myself. Still need to get round to making some better fixings for it as you lose all the mounting points as per the original pipework. It also makes the pancake pipe have some weird resonance that is a bit annoying with the window down. Might try sticking a bit of sound deadening on it.

if you want to go with the sfs, quote uk mk4's and get a 25% discount

 The sheep skin mitts really make a difference from cleaning it with the standard   eh

The SFS pipe is on my list...I will replace the standard pancake pipe with one from the 1.8T, I helped my bro do this on his 130 and it such a better piece of kit, just joined it with some silicone. You mention weird ressonance, I'm sure someone else said about this in some thread a while ago...interesting

Thanks for the tip, but I'm on ukmkivs so I didn't need your help

What is next on your list mate?

yeah its weird, its not vibrating or rubbing on anything but if you put the lightest pressure on the back of it with your finger it stops  haven't heard about the 1.8t pancake pipe but will have a look into it!

next mod will probably be a 23mm front arb, which i believe is the r32 one, and whenever that gets done put the tt bushes on the sub frame.

oh and forgot the good news, clutch slip has dissapeared  its healed itself!!!!  don't want to upset things so the remap has been removed from the list of things to do (booooo!)

Interesting...

http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/413937.aspx?PageIndex=1

I know the above will be different for the 150's but replacing the pancake pipe should be similar!! The size difference is amazing as well!!

Change the clutch for a standard one, smash the remap...The difference is ridonkulous!
