Luxury Pack but No Kerb View Mirror?

I have the luxury pack on my 06 GTI, but VW said there's no way of getting the kerb view mirror function, is this correct? or can it be activated through VAGCOM?

It's possible to retro fit but it'll be too expensive to do imo.

You cannot enable it in software in your 06 model car.
