hello
i have a 2011 gti and has had it for over a month. mileage is now 3000+ kms
a few weeks ago i started noticing a moderate knocking noise when in the middle of second gear, from the underside of the body
at first i thought it was something like a pebble hitting the underside but this happened again and again
there is only one knocking noise and it only happens once after i switch on the car and drive off. there are no more knocking noise if i stop at the lights and drive on again for example. but if i switch off the engine again for 10 minutes, switch it on and drive off again, that knocking noise will be heard once in the middle of 2nd gear again.
this is making me a bit concerned as im not sure whether it will cause long term damage etc etc
anyone has any ideas?
any comments/suggestions are appreciated
