Edition30 DSG with something missing??
« on: 31 March 2011, 20:44 »
Looking under the bonnet on my ed30, there seems to be something missing from in front of the battery housing and fusebox in the front RHS of the bay?? there are two spare lugs there - the same sort that hold the airbox/engine cover on and there is also a mounting that stands about two inches tall with a brass thread in the end like something should be fixed there??

anyone got any ideas??!

Thanks, Cooko

That's the certificate position.   Tel VW Customer services and ask for your limited edition certificate, VW promised only 1500 0f the coloured bumper model would be sold in the UK.

To the OP. They are all like that. Aftermarket developers know it is spare and even use it for locating intakes and intake heat shields.
