Ants
« on: 31 March 2011, 14:43 »
So picked up my girlfriends new Lupo and it appears to have a few extra passengers

Basically I keep spotting bloody ants crawling on the dashboard but can't pinpoint where they are coming from. Don't really want to sprinkle the car with ant powder but how do I get rid of the feckers?

Cheers

Secondhand car but only 28k on the clock. Sod driving back to the dealership, it's 2 hours away. The car had been standing a while so could explain it!

Might just have to throw some ant powder over the dash!

You can buy ant traps(no really),its a little round plastic trap that they walk into and never come out of  ,they are only a few pounds.you have probably left something sweet in the car somewhere
Golfgti build quality is average at best.

i'd second this.. have seen these ant traps don't know if they work but its the best solution, much better than ant powder... I don't know if they take the poison back to the nest or not but its better than having a few friends coming along for the journey
