mk2 gti 8v remap price

i have spoken to my local dyno place and they say that to do a remap for my car without even dynoing it will be £295 and if i want it done on a dyno it will be another 395ph for 2 hours! this is a bit steep isnt it, can anyone suggest anywhere in south east please.....

no idea, and that is 95ph no 395 lol, is it even worth it then, i have a 20l bottom end, big valve head, p+p, ss 4-1, ss exhaust, looking at fast road cam. any point>

They cant even control fuel or spark, best you can I think is just get a chip. You'll gain about 5bhp maybe, with control of fuel and spark then a more.

Did you ever get a cam fitted? With an vernier pulley u will get better gains by getting it dialed in on a dyno
