Media not supported?
« on: 30 March 2011, 11:02 »
Hey!

My names Rich, long time member, first time mk5 section poster

Just looking for some advice and hoping you guys can help out :afro: my cousins husband has a 58' 2.0 TDI, in the arm rest there is that socket where you can plug in an iPod cable and iPod, how ever when you plug the iPod in on the head unit it just says can't read media or media not supported or something ... my question is how do you get the iPod to play? because I dont think you can change the format of music files down loaded from iTunes? Any help MUCH appreciated, there is a pint in it for me if i can get it to work

Thanks

How old is the Ipod's software?

Sometimes you need to update the ipod's firmware to get them to run.
