What are the options to fit on my newly arrived GT TDI and let's see some pics please?

What no reply?

Have I been outcast for having a lowly GT, or because I've strayed from the Mk2 section?

Don't worry. I know my place.

Give us chance, everyone is still suffering from the 1 hour jet lag!!

How big is a GT spoiler? The GTI/D one is probably a little bigger.

Or here's a Votex (OEM VW) one as fitted to the car owned by the guy I bought my BBSs from:

Prices? f**k knows. Phone your unhelpful local dealer for half arsed info (if your local dealer is anything like mine).
There are a few VW parts guys selling on ebay, these boys will undoubtedly be a lot more helpful than some of the dealer guys I've had the misfortune to deal with.

^^^^^^I'd seen that one somewhere, but am not sure I like the underside of it. I'll have to look at a GTI one and see what the differences are.

The GT doesn't have a spoiler as such.

Here's a sort of shot of the underside of my GTI spoiler.

The Votex one clips over the existing one I think. That means the high level brake light doesn't need to come off. The GTI/D one completely replaces the smaller spoiler by the looks of it and incorporates the brake light.
In other words I reckon the Votex one is probably easier to fit and cheaper.

Nice GT BTW, not as nice as your MK2 though.

Get some Chrome yeti tips on that GT :) will look good with a spoiler. Also there is another spoiler on eBay that I like the look of, sticks out about as far as the gti spoiler but doesn't have a lip that flicks up on it :)

The good thing about a Votex one on a new GT is that it would be covered by the various warranties.

Having seen the two options, I think I prefer the look of the GTI one. I'll borrow someones reg number and get a price from TPS.

Yeti tips are on the to do list as well. How do they fit on?

Thanks for the comment on the Mk2 Exonian

So what do you call it?

The standard one is ok the bigger you go the more $hit it pulls up of the road and on to the rear window which is a fault of the Mk6.
