CR Turbo's charge around £500 mark for a K03 hybrid using the RS6 K04 internals and if you send a K03s without any damage to the housing then you will have no issues. They also fit a Cosworth actuator.

I called Turbo Centre who quoted me near £800 for the same work

CR turbos are good when they get it right, but it seem they are just chucking turbo together from parts laying around, then when things go wrong the blame the customer for oil starvation, or if the dont make power the blame the tuner.  I have a few mate who are tuners who now refuse to work with any car with a cr turbo fitted.

Could be coil pack or Ignition map which is an easy one to test imo.

But it could be lean burn missfire from a weak fuel supply.  This could be down to a blocked fuel filter, duff fuel pump, naff FPR or even the vac line split the the FPR.  You really need to find someone with a mobile wideband lambda sensor and do a log or get on a dyno for a logging session with a wideband andlive fuel rail pressure logging.   If you want you can pop down to me and I will carry out a full fuel system logging session and pin point the fault.

Nick

I'll change the fuel filter and check for split pipes in a while,it is missfiring on boost.

I'll see how i go after the filter is swapped, and report back.

Good news,it was a split pipe that comes off the charge pipe and goes to the N75.Got that sorted and it's back to normal.

Now that's sorted,it's time to think about the forge actuator. How much fitted and fettled Nick.

I can feel a road trip coming on
