No they don't...and it's a pain in the ass trying to shut it in the dark.

I agree.... bloody shame they don't light up. Its hard enough twiddling it to the closed setting in the day time.

Not sure if other cars on the market do this....... but it would also be nice if the sunroof closed itself automatically when you lock the car.

Does it not close if you hold down the lock button on the remote?  :undecided:

You might be able to change it via VAGCOM / VCDS, whatever you want to call it

Your knob not big enough to find in the dark  Jokes aside I dont find it a problem.
I had a Outlander and as soon as you open the door the key area lit up brightly. Its a great idea as you don't get any scuff marks on the plastic trying to find where it is. Saying the that the GTI is lit up for a short while when you enter so what am I going on about

I can find the knob OK...but if you turn it anti-clockwise to close the tilt, and it's dark, and you are driving...it's hard to tell it's closed, and not gone beyond closed, and started to slide back.
You clance up, and because it's not lit, and there is no obvious detent, it's easy to get it wrong.

Thanks all. Just seemed odd it does not light up when all round it does.
As said can be a pain working out what dot is closed or were the marking on the knob is for closed in the dark.
I use mine all the time to allow fresh air in.
The sunroof was the deal breaker for me if it had not been factory fitted the order would have been cancelled i use them so much especially in such a dark interior.

Get back in your claustrophobic coal mine of a car interior  At least ours has light.
