guys just bought another gti t on an 01 the rear disks are -hagged whats the most cost effective discs to put on these are solid at the moment.

You wanting to upgrade or simply replace the discs??

If replacing go some something half decent like ATE / Pagid from Euro's and spend your money on decent pads

If upgrading then you can fit the 256mm rears but you need callipers and the carriers to fit them

Pagid / Mintex etc

On the Golf I fitted some ebay special discs and pads (256mm though) and they were £45 all in.  Did the job ok  :smiley:

I wouldn't go OTT on the rears as they only do about 20% of the braking.  I'd spend your money on decent stuff for the fronts  :smiley:
