Painting Calipers - What colour?

OK I've deep cleaned and sealed my wheels over the last couple of weekends and also spray painted the disc centres with matt silver as I was sick of seeing the rust on them (appears to be a typical VAG issue as had it on my Audi too) They look so much better but with the wheels off I realised just how grubby the calipers are looking.

Rather than just cleaning them up I will be painting these too.

As it is a black car - what colour do you think will best suit? I like the idea of red (prompted by GTD 2010's Mod'd car) but wonder if that is a bit "in your face"? Black is o-so subtle and silver is more OEM.

I`ve been considering the same...on a black car too.
I think red will look like you`re trying to add a bit of GTI to a GTD and will prolly get a lot of criticism from the GTI boys on here, I`ll be going either black or gunmetal grey with mine, I tink.

What wheels do you have?

Gold is quite nice, I've seen it done before. Blue would look too much like the old R32.

What about blue, same colour as the R32

I would playsafe and paint them red, especially as they would standout nicely on a black car.
