Thermoswitch connector, where can i get one?

Hey guys,

I've got a valver that refuses to use its radiator fan consistently! 

I know the fan works fine as does the thermoswitch so i'm guessing its the connection between the thermoswitch and the fan that is dodgy. Does anyone know where i can get a replacement for the plug that goes in to the thermoswitch? Have i explained myself well enough here? Any help would be appreciated!

Scrappy is your best bet tbh.  Or find someone breaking a car

Use a meter to test continuity from the fan plug to the thermo plug. Also can test for 12v present on the feed side of the thermoswitch. If it is bust, as matey says,its easy to get anuva 1 from a scrappy. Make sure you get the same as you've got though, some are 2 pin, some 3pin, dependent on what speed fan you have (single or twin)

one more question, answer if you can, i just fitted an uprated headlight loom, everything was fine, i started the engine, put the sidelights on, perfect, then put the dipped beams on and the engine cut out and now the battery is completely discharged. any idea what's happened here?

Without lookin at how you've wired it its hard to tell.. I'd go bk over it if I were you.. I use the original sidelight plugs on mine,as through my uprated harness the plugs weren't working the sidelights, and I couldn't be ballbagged to look into it, should be simple enough to figure tho

pull the plug off the rad thermoswitch, bridge the pins. if fan runs the switch is to blame, or the rad is blocked so coolant isnt getting to the switch. if it doesn't run either the fan is bust, the wiring is faulty or the fuse has blown.  jump the fan direct to the battery, if it runs you know its the fuse or the wiring.  if fuse is ok look at the 2 pin plug near the rad, its probably just a dirty connection here. the plug isnt waterproof which isnt ideal.

with the loom fault, does the battery light come on with the ignition then go out? if not, the blue wire from alternator is the problem, or the dash bulb is blown. if it does, id say battery is toast
