Gear linkage help!

Hi guys,

can someone tell me what the part number is for the below part i just need the rubber ball bit. mine is missing and i can barely change gear without it.

No part number for the ball but the relay shaft (including the ball) is 191 711 173 B.

tbh not sure never used one the original shafts have always been ok on my golfs

went into VW today and asked for this part, they wanted to charge me £49+VAT i almost choked on my chewing gum when he said the price!!

what a joke!! im going to ask GSF and look on ebay, if anyone has a link to this part on ebay it would be really helpful.

gsf one fits liek pants, the slotted end doesn't fit the lever. need to file it down, or what i did was yank the ball off it and fit to the VAG lever. need to peen the end of the shaft a little to hold it on once swapped over so it doesnt fall off again

What do you mean by peen jonny? I need to change mine over too. Got a gsf one so just gonna yank the ball off. :)
