power steering mk2 conversion

i was wonderin what someone would charge to fit a powersteering kit to my car is i was to get all the parts and them just to fit it just a rough price and would a power steering kit of a mk2 golf fit a nonme power steering golf mk2 hope this makes sence thanks

no expert of pricing this stuff but i would think about 200 notes to fit? maybe more?

i just got engine swap and power steering put in forjust over ?200!! but it cost ?250 in labour to get it put in the first car originally! came from a scciroco first and is now in its second golf, very worth while, apparently steering racks were a pain in the arse though!

how big a job is this to tackle without paying a garage to do it for you?

pain in the arse having wide tyres and no p/s

yeah ive got big tyres on mine and parking were i live in londons it takes ages and im struggerling to park it qiuck and it just fells realy tough going thats why i want to do the power steering conversion then my golfs done for now is it hard to diy it
