I wouldn't fall through the floor pan, the car's solid, plus for a job like this, I'll be wearing full overalls, safety gloves and goggles, so death isn't an issue.

But you see now people are telling me to fit the clips to the seat legs and other are saying the clips go in the runners, very confusing.

I know where the bolt to take the seat out is, I had that off yesterday, but then I got a clip stuck, so locked the car and walked to the pub, I've got the clip out now though.

going down the pub is alkways a good solution!!!

the clip bits go in the runners (i think) but its been ages since i took the seats out a golf i cant remeber exactly...  and they should just slide in

Yeah the clips fit on the legs but the legs fit in the runners. So i suppose the clips go inbetween the legs and runners.

P.S I think this job requires a crash helmet to be worn too! And high heels!

Mini skirt wearing days are over I'm afraid, once you hit 30, it all goes south.

5.00 tonight, seats will be out and clips inserted - I'll try the passenger one first.
Nice to have help on such matters, just wait until I begin the engine conversion.

dont bother with the passenger one. its probably fine its the driver side one is the problem because there is always somebody sitting in it when being driven. unlike the passenger seat

Understood, but if the passenger seat is wobbly then I'd rather that be sorted also - do you not agree?
