Preparing for buying a machine polisher, can you recommend the compounds that I wil ned to remove scratches and swirls, can I use the polisher outside or does it have to be in the garage/

Replied to your PM
You can use either outside, just be careful not to use it on windy days as dust or other things can get blown onto the paint and scratch if they are dragged round under your polisher. I have never had any problems polishing outside and I bet 90% of people with machine polishers do it outside, although a nice warm garage is preferable
