Fitting Audi TT cast front wishbones.......

I get the feeling this is a great upgrade for the Golf.

What's involved parts/$$ wise please?

Was looking in to this but you need pretty much the whole front suspension off the tt.

Hope this helps mate explains pretty much all you need and dont need.

Thanks, but I'm not sure that's the case mate...  I read this before and think he mainly did the install to replace the steering rack and all the other bits were available and went on.

I got it in mind the most the wishbones might require is suitable struts to connect drop links?  Though I might be wrong and you can fit the TT wishbones alone?

Someone please confirm  :undecided:

the front mount of the wishbone is different, but the rear is the same, so you can use the rear bushes on the gti wishbones

Yeah you have to get new struts with the link on it for the arb to attach to and a tt or r32 arb. Its more the questions that people ask that says what you need to do to make it work.

Cheers Houston

So cast wishbones straight up are a no-no?   :embarassed:

The TT/VRS wishbone rear bushes are solid aint they not like the fluffy Golf ones?  Looks like that's the best alternative without spending mega bucks then hey?

yes you can use the solid tt bushes, or use sikaflex on your current bushes to fill the gaps.

i ordered some tt bushes but got sent the golf ones, so im gonna seal the gaps up before i get them fitted.

i personally find polybushes too hard, maybe im gettin old

When I was looking into it im sure you could use the cast wishbone but had to replace the ARB with one off a TT or a R32.
