Fuel Gauge - MK3 Golf GTI

Hi,

Anyone have a fuel gauge that sticks and the needle is erratic ?

It's not the end of the world but would be good to cure a some stage.

Maybe a dodgy sender unit in the fuel tank?

 :) Hi i have a complete fuel tank sender unit bought from German Recycled for a Vento that i had.It is second hand but in excellent condition.If any good to you (i paid ?40:00 for it) make us an offer.Me in Herts. ;D

When I've nearly run out of petrol and I fill the tank right up. Mine doesn't always show that the tanks full and it doesn't show the correct reading for a couple of days.

Mine sometimes drops from half to reserve. Had the sender replaced and it makes no difference so more than likely something in the dash.
