i am working on a mk2 golf project, have stripped all the under seal of the car and have fixed what ever patches there were. does anyone know what is the best stuff to re-under seal the car with. thanks

Don't use the Hammerite stuff you get in Halfords, it's sh!te IMO.

Dinitrol would be my weapon of choice. 3125 for all the box sections/cavities, 4941 for the underside (black stuff).

Yep they do a underseal and the thing is it stays flexible so will not crack and let water underneath.

Yes waxoil do a brush on type underseal, to get sills etc done you need air fed equipment so it is best left to the pros.

waxoil also do a pump (with cavity lance) and aerosol can's of the stuff.....

It is messy but It's worked on all my mk3 sills (possibly the most common rusty vw bit ever!)

As wayne said, any box sections can be done by spraying stuff into them but the proper equiptment is needed

but what do the pros do drill a hole into your sill and box section and weld up afterwards ??
