Hi everyone. i went with my dad to pick his golf up yesterday which he purchased on saturday.. its a gt tdi 140bhp. we went to view it on saturday and the viewing went perfect. test drive was perfect and that turbo was kicking in like normal.
Yesterday we went to pick it up and after an hour of driving i felt like the car was losing power.. my foot was flat down in 6th gear and i could not go over 70mph and would not go over 2000 revs. i pulled up at the services and turned it off and open the bonnet to see if there was any smell or smoke or anything like that.. there was no emergency lights on the dash board either. when i started the car back up again it was perfect. turbo was kicking in like normal. Main thing was i wanted to do was to get home because it was a 3 hour journey away from home.
Got home perfectly and this morning i took the car out again on the dual carriage way and drove perfectly.
Just want anyones advice if i should be worried in anything.
