Sodding Electric Windows
« on: 15 March 2011, 10:47 »
For a while now my window has been dropping by 2-3 cm since i tried opening the window on a frosty day.

I took the door skin off at the weekend and found the cable had snapped, and therefore the window function was f'ed.

Im looking to get this problem sorted, as summer is coming up and windows are a nice feature :D.

What part(s) and part number(s) will i need to get the job done myself?

How did you go about removing the door card to get at the window?

Do you have a link to a guide?

I've got a link somewhere. I'll fish it out soon. I found it via google though so perhaps try there in the meantime

Is the part, the window regulator? If so I've got one on order. I haven't paid 95, but it wasn't cheap :(
