new cluster coding......

got a new cluster and done my reserch for coding it but was wondering if anyone has done this and where ya got the SKC code from??
i got the plastic key, and dont know if it is one of the numbers printed on it???

if you have vag tacho and vagcom then you wont need the SKC, the SKC should be on the plastic key though i think.
vag tacho will code in the correct dump file ect and retreive a password for you and you need vagcom to code the keys to your new clocks and enter the correct soft coding..

The SKC isn't printed on the plastic tag unless you have a really early car and then it is under a scratch of panel.
Have a look at this link regarding SKC retrieval :afro:

havent got tacho only vag com (sort of!!) so i wont be able to do it??

nah no scratch off panel  :sad: 

oh well thats gonna have to wait for a bit then.........

still, like new steering wheel and climatronic goin in  :smiley:  :smiley:
