issues
« on: 13 March 2011, 22:14 »
Hi guys

I'm trying to sort out a starting issue with my car where it doesn't start 1st time I've changed the camshaft position sensor and there has been no change apart from the revs going up and down on idle

I'm starting to think that the starting issue is down to the immobiliser is it expensive and hard to replace?
Cheers ash

revs goin up and down could be that your throttle body needs a clean or your temp sensor or thermostat needs changing

Thanks cullygti
I'll look into that. The revs on idle has only jus started wouldn't the throttle body, temp sender and thermo go wrong progressively?

ive changed both and still sits lower than 90, replaced waterpump and cambelt couple weeks back so cant be pump...........which leaves the wires ontop of temp sensor could be dodgy
