best dualmass fly wheel
« on: 13 March 2011, 20:44 »
hi chaps looking like the dualmass fly wheel in my golf 130 tdi is starting to go. Can any one say what is the best to replace it another dualmass or go for a solid fly wheel ?

Solid flywheel is the best option.

If you don't like your teeth then maybe

You also got to weigh up if you're going for extra power.

I'd stick with the dualmass IMO

i have just had a quote fronma vw specialist for duelmass flywheel, clutch kit, release bearing and of course labour. all came to £1072.71. all vw parts!!!!!
prices are
labour £220
clutch kit £160.56
flywheel £470.81

i called euro parts and there price was £382 for all the above parts.
not sure if to sell the car or just find someone else to do the job.
