fault code reader or vagcom

hi ppl im just wondering if there is any1 in the norwich or norfolk area uk who are intrested in golfs?
i think i have bought a dodgy 1 and just wondered if any1 wanted to have a look at it for me? i dont mean fix it or anything just a quick look over to tell me.got an air bag light on now and its not been in a crash.not sure what i have let my self into lol.cheers ppl

Get your own reader cheap from ebay  :wink:

Try and clean the airbag plugs under the front seats  :smiley:

ok cheers for the quick reply.
ill try that,are the plugs easy to get to?
also i find when i unlock the drivers door by putting the key into the lock my windows sometimes goes down which is annoying.and where the fuse box is behind that there is a ticking noise.interior lights dont work when you open the doors but if i press them manually they come on very strange.
any idea on why i might of failed the emissions test for the mot?

nice1 that is helpful as it will be cheaper than paying a garage to plug it in and re programme :)
would a lambda sensor being faulty or something might affect my emissions?

Yeah could well be a lambda sensor as said you need to scan it for fault codes before do anything  :wink:
