Sounds the like the order could still be a bit wrong TBH. Either that or you've knocked the timing out a tad.

You need a proper Spark Plug socket to get the plugs out. You wont have killed a plug from getting the order wrong.

Me and most people I know just use a long reach socket and if it don't pull the plug out push the ht lead on it and pull it out  :smiley:

For stink I think a proper socket would be best, he's a bit accident prone and I have images of a broken a plug stuck down the whole.

ok well here is how it is at the mo is this the wrong order? pic i found on google



if the timing has been knocked out is that a bit of a ball ache for a novice like me to sort?

I think i would prefer a proper tool as you mention i just manage to break anythign i bloody touch! All part of the learning curve i guess :embarassed:

did you put em on 1 3 4 2 anticlockwise? if not, easy mistake to make. did same on our polo!

yep its anticlockwise on a 16v, nd 1.0-1.3 as dizzy is on side o head it spins opposite way to 1.6/1.8 8v :)
