hi guys and gals new girl needing help

hi all, first of i have joined as my partner is a rs owner member and gets loads of help on there, now i need it and hope a few of you could help me out ,
first is ......... i drive along and my gti turbo seems to just die on me and i normally put my foot flat down and it just starts going again,, other times is when im at a stand still it will just cut out and when re started it dies when i touch accelarator !  not to sure what this could be but much needed help needed !

second is that i cant find the color code on it !   it a s reg silver golf gti anniversery edition and has a kinda blue tint in it. only had it 2 months and wanna buy a chip stick lol

Hi, welcome.

Sounds like spark plugs maybe does it seem to be misfiring a bit?

Hi paint code located on sticker in boot next to spare wheel 4 didgit code. :smiley:

Welcome need to scan it for fault code first  :wink:

Paint code will be on the white sticker in the boot/ in the handbook something like  lb5n

Yours sounds like Reflex silver  :smiley:

thanks guy    i just read it may be crank sensor is it !

thing is i aint got warning lights on dash so would i still a fault if i got it read   ?   dont wanna pay if there nothing there !
