they just feel proper crap and spungy, time for new ones i think :cry:

Probably the fluid when was it last changed?

 Should be done every 2 years as it attracts moisture  :nerd:

brakes are easy to change, I'd leave the fluid to a garage to do though....

garage its not easy for a novice VW only charge £45 for a fluid change  :smiley:

brakes are easy to change, I'd leave the fluid to a garage to do though....

+1 mk4 can be a pain to bleed. VW only charge £35 to change it IIRC

ok thanks everyone for your replies, al book it in on monday

should i get them to change the disc's aswel to me they look like a "morris minors" might be still original ones that are on, it a 99 t reg.

VW will say they are worn even if they are not get a local VW specialist to check them over for you  :wink:
