A mate has been having classic CPS problems with his 1.4, and plugging it into VAGCOM confirmed this.
The garage who did this are telling him that the gearbox, clutch and flywheel all need to come out to replace it.
I know that modern cars are designed to increase repair bills, but this seems to take the piss!
So can anyone confirm where the CPS is located on a 1.4?
