If you have the gear then of say notch is as a precaution anyway. Plus if gives you the option on flooring that boat! :grin:

Chassis notch will defo be needed!! My drivers side drive shaft was catching on coils so going even lower will defo need a notch.

Air is great for practicality but you may aswel have it low when parked up so no point not notching it!!

Hockey puck mod is a cheap alternative to raise the engine if worried about the sump! With air unless you will  e dragging the underneath around at full speed the sump should be plenty safe enough. On coils is defo a different matter  :wink:

Is this the same for a vr though? ive got my coilies wound right down - sump inch n alf' of the floor but drive shafts dont catch.

Saying that though, ive never checked how much clearance i have  :grin: :grin:

No worries bud.

Yeah both sides done so can lay frame. No worries with clearence now!! Depending how low you want it to sit on air there is a hell of a lot more involved to get it low low!!
