Just ordered some cream suede to do the headlining so that will give me a little job to do while im tapping my foot waiting. :evil:

Just got a few pics off Daz the sprayer.So thought i would update.Car will be fully in primer all being well next week and i will be picking him up on the 17thMAY :cool: :grin:

Just a few more pics.These are from Monday in it's 1st coat of primer.The car will be getting picked up on tuesday the 17th.

Just spunked about £250 on detailing gear for when it gets back.It's gunna kill me waiting for a few weeks to pass before attacking it with some shiny stuff! :grin:

if its been done in a oven, theirs no reason you cant give it a coat of something like jetseal 1O9

2 spangly buckets with lids
1 grit guard
2 Meguiars lambswool wash mitts
1 Elite car care snow foam
4 Lakeland dimpled polish applicators.
10 Dodojuice fantastic fur microfibre cloths
2 Dodojuice Waffle weave cloths
2 Meguiars Terry towel cloths
Meguiars 205 ultra finish polish
Poor boys black hole
Poor boys bug and tar remover
Poor boys Quick Detailer plus
Poor boys spray and gloss
Poor boys bug squach
2 Dodo juice finger mitt
Dodo juice Supernatural wax
Autoglym Bumper care

Still got a sealant and a window cleaner to get and i think i may have got it altogether.

It will be the darkest shade of LA9V brilliant black metallic.Rare colour on the mk3 so i decided to keep it. :cool:

The engine bay will get done when the engine is ready to go in.
As im going black and cream inside i had a small incling that i wanted to have the engine bay cream once i had smoothed it.But that may change by the time it's ready to go in :grin:

this is all id use out of that lot


you got stuff their you dont need

Grit guards waste of time if using snow foam
Black hole is pants, only decent with a DA and you should not even need it on fresh paint

jetseal 1O9 is a must
