i remember someone using a sort of coilovers zip jacket as had mine on for 3 months already worrying about them, any idea if there worth the around 20 pound a sleeve is so anyone know were to get any of these jackets!

Get a hand full of grease and smear it up the threads nice and thick... You wont see it with wheels on and lowered, if it needs to come off get a cloth and wipe it, its water proof so will protect..

No way would i spray way oyl over my coil overs, had mine for over a year now and no signs of rust...

It is the best thing you can use, really protects the threads.

waxoil, grease,

think waxoil is the tidyer solution and better to work with proaly longer lasting.

there both easyer to clean off but i should imagin waxoil been somewhat less messy.  id use something diffrent   BTP  it's actualy attery terminal protector it comes out the can like bubbely green snot and just hangs on what ever you spray it on.   just easyer to remove than underseal
all the VW's have gone bar 1.

cheers guys, found my c-spanner at last  :lipsrsealed: so can get cleaning, adjusting and protecting just as soon as i've polished my wheels up

I don't think a semi will give the same results
