Had mine replaced on Monday as part of the 5 year service, car seems more responsive now. Oh by the way it was registered in Sep 06.

Had mine done on Weds, with a nice bill of £482 for a new EGR Valve and coolant temp sensor at the same time.... oh well, hopefully the orange light will stay away for a while now!

Officially they didn't!
Just ring your dealer and ask if your car is on the list.

Went to VW today to buy a small part i needed. Asked about the recall for the coils and mine do need changing so its booked in for friday FOC !
She also mentioned that there had been two other recalls since new and that they had both been completed prior to me getting the car. I will ask exactly what these both were and let everyone know. One i think was an ecu update or something?! Thanks for the heads up
