steering wheel boss kit?

hi guys iv got a momo steering wheel sitting around and wanted to fit it on my mk3 gti, its a 1998 with an airbag so im not sure how to get round the airbag? also the light on the dash will come on if disconnected wont it?

any help would be great :smiley:

im sure this has been asked before as im sure some of you will point out :laugh:

Yep you need a resistor to stop the light coming on.

Maplins I believe sell them

i take it a normal boss kit for a mk3 will work ok and its just the resistor i need?

Yep, best to dissconnect the battery and leave for 10mins before removing the airbag.

apparently momo sell a boss kit for £50 that comes with a resistor and wiring
