Would you trust this cambelt kit?
« on: 08 March 2011, 11:23 »
As per title, looking for a cambelt kit, VW want £74.51

I got the part number 037 198 119 and wacked it into google which came up with this website. It has no pictures of the kit, but the same part number, with a few more digits in brackets at the end, and is only £12.09 :undecided:

What are people's thoughts on this? The kit is £33.00 on the ECP website :undecided:

Would you trust a bit of £12 gear to keep your engine in time and to take the stress's it needs to at 6000RPM?

Go to gsf and get a decent one

When genuine is £74.51 and ECP is £33 i'll go with ECP every time.

Respect that, I just believe it is not something to save money on, I know that some items from ecp or gsf are oe suppliers but have always stuck to genuine.
