mk3 window motor

Hi all

i am looking to buy a new or second hand window motor for the front drivers side door...... can anyone tell me if the motors are all the same ( as in one motor fits all doors ) or are the motors specific fitment for each different door ? my car is a 5dr 94 VR6 if that helps

I believe the motors are all the same but the regulators are different.
