Recently my car has been quiet temperamental in starting, I changed the battery last week and it was okay back to normal, had no problems starting it up this weekend, but I come to test it today and it's a no go, I've got the battery light on the dash but the battery is fine and I looked at the starter and can't see any problems, it's really confusing me as it works and the doesn't could it be the starter motor shorting out or dirty connections? Help would be muchly appreciated as I need to use the car asap :-( it's a 1.8 gti non turbo
And if all fails I'll put it up for sale as a project as thts what is was going to be I'd only want about 800 and I'll end up chucking brand new black diamond grooved discs and pads, performance spark plugs and 2 new Dunlop tyres
